"Tortillaville" is a video by Brian Branigan shot in Melaque, Mexico, that captures a day in the life of a tortilleria. The film tracks the entire production process from the initial grinding of the corn and mixing of the dough to the pressing, baking, and selling of fresh, warm tortillas. Because this labor is repeated daily, Branigan mirrors the rhythmic, continuous cycle by deliberately repeating specific shots throughout the video.
