This 2007 piece is part of a series of artist videos created by Brian Branigan for Chronogram Magazine. The video features an interview with painter and former actor Allen Midgette, who is best known for famously impersonating pop artist Andy Warhol during a college lecture tour in 1967.

Filmed when Midgette was 68 and living humbly in Woodstock, New York, the interview captures him recounting his days in Italy working with director Bernardo Bertolucci and being part of Andy Warhol’s New York Factory scene. Midgette later passed away in 2021.
